Anyone else waiting due to Zika?
Hubs and I traveled to a place in the tropics where there's active transmission of Zika for vacation last fall. The CDC tells men to wait 6 months after possible exposure to try to start a family, which is a lot longer than women are advised to wait because the virus lasts longer in semen.
Soooo...won't really be in the clear until April. And I personally don't feel that starting to try sooner is worth the risk...it's just a couple more months, so in the grand scheme of things, not a huge deal.
BUT STILL. I'm feeling much more impatient than I was in, say, November. 🙈
