Baby dropped? Ftm

Question

So im 32 weeks and went into L&D yesterday for a scare (everything was fine) but when thw nurse was checking my cervix and whatnot she said she thought she could feel his head,  but my cervix hadn't opened yet...i was wondering if that meant my baby has already dropped? And if he has what not that mean?

This happened to me at 20 weeks. I had really bad contractions so I went to the hospital & my baby was already head down! My cervix was short but closed, I just had to be on bed rest & than my cervix went back to its normal length. I'm now 29 weeks, going on 30 on Sunday & he is still head down :)
