Woke up this morning to an epic shit storm (literally!)! My poor fur baby had an upset belly overnight and there was excrement and vomit all over the bottom half of our home. Thank heavens for wood flooring! Got the mess cleaned up and the cat bathed (my arms look like I was ravaged by a cougar not 6kg kitty) only to find a lot of blood in her litter box. Our vet is awesome and able to see us right away. Not sure what has caused it as she is an outside cat (given this weeks snow, she has only been out twice for a few mins each time) but the poor soul has had a severe bout of colitis. She had a antibiotic injection and an anti-inflammatory injection too. AF is due today and I'm feeling anxious.
