Traveling.. any advice?

We're taking our first big trip in the beginning of April and my anxiety is already full force. We're still practicing on the breast but my flow is SO fast and forceful. It would make life so much easier but it's just not working for us. Bottles work wonderfully though!

Anyway, we have at least 5 hours driving time to my family (and then another 2 to his family's later on that night) I know we'll have to make at least 2 stops during the 5 hour trip, possibly 3. Thankfully we use the kiinde twist bags and my girl isn't super picky, it just can't be ice cold. So to warm the milk, I plan on just putting it between my thighs or under my arm for a few minutes. We've tried this successfully at home when I'm lazy and exhausted and know I won't want to get up 🙄 so that take care of one issue.

Any advice on storage in the car on the way? I'm assuming just a good cooler and lots of ice packs but I just feel nervous that the milk will be spoiled upon arrival and she'll starve! Logically, I know this is irrational but I can't shake the fear. Should I freeze some of it or not bc then it would only be good 24 hours bc it would be thawing...? 🤔

So, she eats every 2-3.5 hours. We'll feed her before we leave and stop 2-3 times. Then we'll be at my grandma's surprise party for another 2-3 feeds. We'll try to leave shortly after a feed for his parents house 2 hours away. We'll stay there for the night (another 2-4 feeds) and leave in the morning for another 5 or 6 hour drive. It's a different route home so it won't be as much driving. But that's still another 2-3 stops as long as we fed her before leaving.

K, this helps to write it out a bit. If anyone has any helpful advice or tips for traveling and being EP-ers, please share it here 😊
