Yes! My Ma and I call it "Hoover Mode" because you suck up all the food! Lol! You actually can burn about 100 to 300 calories a day on your period just by having your period. The body is an amazing machine and will request extra calories to make up for the burned ones. Make smart food choices to avoid the period bloat and drink plenty of water during this time. I suggest keeping dark chocolate on hand too!

Is it normal to get really hungry when on your period? And I ate a pretty big dinner & lunch yesterday so it doesn't make sense. Thank you
