I went on a trip to Thailand and had an appointment scheduled to see the doctor for another check up and the genetic blood testing as soon as I got back. The last few days of the trip I had been feeling really terrible so when the nurse couldn't find the heartbeat with the doppler and said she would have to do an ultrasound I panicked and started crying. Luckily the baby was moving around too much which is why she was having problems with the doppler. Second trimester here I come!
