Ovarian cyst after MC

I had my one month check up since MC and they found a cyst on my right ovary (3 cm).

Doctor was not worried, but she suggested I go on birth control. I know that the pill does help get rid of a cyst but I would rather not.

Anyone had a cyst while TTC? Did you agree to the birth control? I am so conflicted about what to do.

I am willing to wait a couple of cycles before trying again but I do not feel comfortable with messing with my ovulation and natural cycle because I really wanna to track accurate information.
