PET RESPONSIBILITY
for starters this will probably upset a lot of people but I really feel it needs to be said. 
I have seen so many posts recently complaining or looking for advice about their pets. This is my take-
This is to any and all animal owners, whether you're new to it or have been doing it for years.
Please for the love of God ALWAYS DO YOUR RESEARCH.
Every animal and every single breed and type of that animal differentiates. People need to be aware of exactly what they're getting themselves into with each animal they're interested in. The animal may be cute, it may seem sweet, it may seem easy to take care of, it may SEEM a lot of ways but in reality there's an "ugly" side to owning any animal and any Breed. People, please please make yourselves aware of the ugly side before getting any animal. We as humans have got to stop buying simply because it's cute or because of impulse. That is how animals end up in shelters and other places.
To add- here's just a few examples (out of 23) of horses of mine who I rescued because people just decided to throw them away. They were slaughter bound.
