So few days ago my grandmother says to me.. "honey.. tell me if I'm going to far or wrong. When and if you and your SO get married and if you can't afford a wedding ring.. I would love to give you my 7 diamond anniversary ring"

I wanted to cry when she offered this! Like really!! How sweet! But then I feel like wow.. does she think that much of me needing to be married she's offering me a ring so I can be.. (SO & I been together almost 10yr sept 2017, and just had our 1st child Aug 2016 we are not engaged.)

SO says he'd like for our credit to be paid off before Marriage..

I'm just lost really I haven't told me SO about this offer bcuz idk how he'll take it.. I'm sad bcuz ppl think we need to marry.. and that we haven't..

I also feel we have drifted since our sons birth..
