road trip tips??

I am going on an 8 Hour Road trip with my son who is six months old, any tips? We will be leaving around 3 PM and reaching our destination at 11 PM, I will not be the one driving so I can't stay with him in the back when needed

Movies on an iPad, snacks, music and road games. It should be fun. And he will sleep by the time it gets dark.
