My friends don't like my boyfriend. Should I care?

Before my boyfriend and I got together, he did somethings that weren't right and hurt me. But we worked through them and he's treated me right ever since, not all of my friends approve of him. One even stopped talking to me because of him, should I care? Should I be worried? He really makes me happy, and I just wish they would at least respect my relationship.

You should listen to your friends. It might not be their relationship, but they are a lot less likely to sugar coat the crappy things he has done. Its easy to say "they dont know him like I do" and "they arent giving him a chance", but they care about you. If he has been manipulative or abusive in any way, trust your friends.

I chose no because its not their relationship. Its yours and if youre happy then screw all else. Me and my boyfriend have a 12 year age gap, my family did NOT approve at first, but they've grown to love him over the years and hopefully your friends will do the same :)

They just want what's best for you. They will always remember what he did to you. Even though you've gotten past it they still don't like him. So you can't blame them.

Your "friends" are supposed to be there to support you even if they don't agree with your decisions. If they threaten  your friendship over your relationship then I wouldn't want to continue the friendship. I've had my best friend for almost 10 years not I don't like her bf she doesn't like my fiancé but we still are there for each other 100%. She can say what she wants she can voice her opinion or say she doesn't want me to be with him but ultimately that's not up to her and she knows it and will still support me until the end as I do with her.

The biggest thing I have learned is that if friends and family don't like your SO there's a reason and you need to leave.

just cause someone doesn't like your man doesn't mean you should leave him? lol that's thee dumbest thing I've heard. and if you are even considering leaving him because of it then he's obviously not that special to you. people don't choose you're happiness. its your life and you're relationship. you're dating him no one else. do you and don't worry what others have to say about him.
