Out of curiosity, any of you with a history of kidney stones who also have experienced unmediated childbirth. Is there even a comparison between these? For years I've always heard kidney stones are more painful. I feel like this is so individualized based on a persons pain threshold. I will be giving birth for first time end of May. I've had several kidney stones through the years, one in particular that made me damn near black out from the pain before I had pain medicine. I've encountered family members, healthcare staff and just strangers who have said, "they say kidney stones are more painful than childbirth".
