How to dress a July baby? FTM!

So do I buy all summer clothes? I feel as though it's chilly inside to be in summer clothes, so maybe sleepers?...Due date is end of July so what all should I buy clothing wise? Thank you!!!

I think it really depends where you live. I'm in North Dakota so it can be anywhere from 50-100 in the summer. I've bought a few short sleeve and a few long sleeve outfits and thinner sleepers.

This will be my 3rd June/July baby (!) I've always dressed them light. No hats or mittens that sort of thing. And when they are very small a good rule of thumb is to dress them in one more layer than you.

Mostly onesies, socks & Aden & Anais or some brand of Muslin blankets is what I usually do with my babies over the summer. And a full rim hat if sitting poolside or lakeside. Occasionally cute little sleeveless rompers. But not a whole lot is really needed.

This will be my second July baby. I've heard this over and over "dress your baby how you are dressing." They don't want to be too hot or too cold.

I think I'm mostly going to have him in just a onsie but I have some pants for him to incase he gets cold inside. I'm not too sure either I'm a FTM I'm due mid July!

Onesies ! And cute shorts and sun hats if you'll be going outside at all. Babies actually stay pretty warm! I have four younger siblings but I'm a first time mom! Due July 30th:)

I figure onsies should be fine and a blanket if it's cold inside. But I bought a few cotton sleepers without the footies, that way he'll be covered but his feet will be exposed to help cool him off if need be

Guess it depends . it's my first and babies grow so fast, I've been getting warm things for autum winter and lighter things for the summer. Portugal has a more or less tempered climate so I guess 1st 15 days of life baby needs to wear some light mittens and hats so it gets used to the climate.. I guess when I get there I'll find out :)
