& we will never will. I don't mind when people share their opposing views on topics, but it is hurtful/annoying when someone talks you down because of your choice. Whether it be corporal punishment, circumsicion, piercing baby ears, breast feeding, formula feeding, caffeine, sugar, processed foods, disposable diapers, cloth diapers, organic, etc.... you name it! We all have our different views and preferences! It's just saddening to see some people be very judgemental to others that don't share the same views! I'll share my experiences and stories with you and if you have an opposing views on any of those above mentioned topics, I wont tear you down. Sometimes I might even learn from some of you and change my original view, and vice versa. We all grew differently. We're from different countries, languages, cultures, and time zones. We are not going to agree on everything but can we at least agree to be understanding?!

So I'm going to do something crazy and tell you about my views 😊

Corporal Punishment- If you need to spank your misbahaving kids, it's your choice. If you choose not to, you're not a "soft parent."

For me, I want it to be an absolutely last resort (I wouldn't be against a spanking). I grew up with it being normal, then what I learned as a psych major is positive reinforcement is very effective so I'll be trying that out.

Circumcision- Undecided. I have 25 weeks to think more about this. I've done some research and I used to be pro circumcision and now I'm in the middle.

Piercing baby ears- it's done in my culture so I grew up ok with it and will pierce my daughters ears if I ever have one.

Breast feeding- my feeding choice but I also understand not everyone can or wants to do it and as long as your baby is fed then 👍🏼

Formula feeding- saves lives

Caffeine- I never like coffee but I do enjoy the occasional iced Capp or French vanilla capp. I used to drink soda a lot but I've cut down and replaced with water.

Disposable diapers- it's easier and more convenient for me. Also more affordable because I happened to get it free from the grandma's couponing.

Cloth diapers- I feel like this is something I would have considered had I not had an experience with it. I needed up sitting a newborn that was cloth diapered while I was in college and personally hated it. Others might not mind it though.

Processed foods- I wish I was super healthy eating vegetables all the time. I want to change! I really do. It's something that's not going to happen over night and in the mean while I do eat processed food.

Organic- again this sounds cool I would love to be this way but it's something that would have to happen graduallly.

If you have opposing views on any of these topics I would *only* love to hear your reasonings in a friendly way :)

Also there are many more controversial topics that I can't think about that I will gladly share my thoughts on.
