Birth Control after baby?

So wondering what your plans are after you have your little for birth control thats safe for breastfeeding? I'm staying away from the pill because thats what I got pregnant on and took it religiously for 2 years.

vasectomy.

I also got pregnant while on the pill. Im looking to get the nexplanon implant after I'm done breastfeeding unless my doc says it's ok while breastfeeding. I doubt it is because its hormonal. It lasts for 3 years then I'll keep getting it until I'm ready for another baby.

I'm getting back on the nuvaring! My ob already knows and she's good with it. My husbands getting a vasectomy asap as well but this will be back up until we are 100% sure baby #5 wont happen.

I still haven't talked to my midwife yet but I'm leaning towards paragard as well. I have never been comfortable with taking hormones and stopped taking the pill a long time ago. My husband and I just used pulling out and condoms for the last 3 years but at that time having a baby was ok. I definitely do not want to get pregnant right away after my LO is born so I think an IUD would be my best option.
