major contraction but no dilation!!
I am 37w4d Due date 3/15
So yesterday I was having random contraction throughout the day. Then night time cam around 11p and contraction were getting closer together. Husband an I were like oh wow we need to get to the hospital. Contractions were about 5 mins apart.
Hospital gave me fluids and then contractions were 2mins apart consistently and intense. Then they lessened for a few mins but same 2mins intervals. Then they said no dilation had occurred. Not even open though baby boy is down there. They sent me home. Contractions continued til about 7am I took a warm shower, got in bed and passed out. Woke up to very mild ones around 10am and had a couple
Light ones all day. Slept most of it.
So what happened?? How does it just go away? Any insight??
