4 days late and tests are still negative

My period is never late and if anything is always at least 2 days early. I'm now currently 4 days late but every test I've taken is showing as negative. I haven't felt right for a couple if weeks now and I have been experiencing pregnancy symptoms. I've had 2 previous miscarriages and we've been trying for a baby for nearly 2 years now so is my body just starting to play tricks on my because I want a baby so much or am I really pregnant but the little money just doesn't want to be seen on a test as of yet?
