how to get my own plan?

Hey guys so right now I'm still on my dads car insurance plan. I was wondering how I can get off of his plan so I can have my own so I can start building up credit. I plan on moving out but I don't have any credit history, I work 2 jobs so I know I can afford it I just don't know how to get off of his and get my own. Also the car is in his name how would I change it into my name?
