Ethnic baby names!

So I'm Hispanic and Irish, and I'm in love with my Hispanic culture. My SO is Scottish and very proud of his heritage as well. I'd love to name our (future) son something along the lines of Rogelio or Santiago bit he thinks it's too "Hispanic" because our children will be pale. Do you think it's okay to cross ethnic lines with names?
