still aching where my stitches were
So I'm a first time mum and during labour I have a second degree tear. They stitched me up and said the stitches on the outside should dissolve ; which they have.
My only thing now is that she did mention to me that the stitches which are inside take 6 weeks to dissolve, but it's been over 6 weeks now. I'm on 6 weeks and 3 days and I've noticed that if I've had a busy day or walked abit it can still feel really swollen and uncomfortable. Is that normal ?
I do have my checkup appointment today but still it's worth asking what it could be
