Bf not attracted to me

My bf and I have been together for 6 years. Over time we have both gained a little weight and we are both working on losing it through diet and a gym trainer. We still have sex around 2 times a week but it's always me doing most of the effort. Today he decides to tell me that he wants to do more sexual things but he isn't attracted to me anymore but still loves me.

Anyone else have a similar issue?
