First Dr appt?!

Is it normal for my very first appt to be at 10 weeks?! I feel like I have so many questions and should be put on prenatals before my first trimester is almost up? My first pregnancy and I'm currently 4 weeks. Any input, advise appreciated. Thank you!

Congratulations! Definitely go to the store and get over the counter prenatal vitamins ASAP. The folic acid is vital right now. I take the nature made ones with DHA. I've been taking them since before my first pregnancy. The wait seems long but like the others said, there's not much to do before then.  If you go too early, you might not be able to hear a heartbeat yet and then you get all stressed.

You can buy your own prenatals. My first appointment was when I was almost 8 weeks 
It's normal for them to wait to see you until 8-10 weeks because the miscarriage rate is so high before that

With my first we had until I was 10 weeks almost 11, and with this one my appt I'll be about 10-11 weeks. It's normal!! 6 more days until mine!!! Also get a prenatal at the store,  I have never gotten a prescription one. The gummies are my favorite

I have to wait until 10 weeks too! I feel your pain. I have been counting down the days (8 more) I called and made the appointment when I found out at 3w6d. So it's been along wait. I have called the office and the nurse practitioner has been really good with getting back to me with any questions I've had. I went out and bought a prenatal with dha that I take once daily. You are supposed to consider your diet and what you aren't getting enough of.

My dr made me wait as well! According to the app I'm 6wks3dys but my first appt isn't until the 15th 😳 I can't wait since this is our first!!
