Gender at 13 weeks?

Ok, so I had a misunderstanding at my OB office with the initial ultrasound. I never really got one. I had two that were crazy fast (less than 4 minutes combined). So they called me yesterday and said they had set up on for next Monday. At that point, I will be 12+6. So almost 13 weeks. If they see the baby's gender, how accurate is it likely to be? I'm just curious. This is my third, I have a girl and a boy and would love another of each. Lol!

I don't think a OB office will tell you the gender that early. I had to go to a private place to find out early, and the earliest they would take is 13w2d. My Ob won't say gender until the 16w but some won't until 20+

It's iffy at that stage and the tech may not even look I found out at 13w4d I'm having another boy, but you maybe can tell that early but you will need to confirm it later on with the 20w ultrasound

It can go either way. It can be very obvious (like it was in my situation. At 12w 5d my son was very proud of himself) or it can be a girl that's mistaken as a boy because she's still swollen. They probably won't even give you a guess until your anatomy scan

We found out with our first at 14 weeks that it was a girl but she said not to buy anything until I had the next ultra sound because sometimes things so up and look clearer later. So I wouldn't get my hopes up but it's possible
