Crohn's Disease and the SCD diet
I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease this past Friday and am pretty devastated. For years I suffered with abdominal pain that they couldn't figure out but because my symptoms aren't typical of Crohn's they didn't check until now.
I know that for many people this means a lifetime of strong medication and often surgery. I am taking the medication prescribed right now just to get the inflammation and ulceration under control but I would love to try and beat this thing with diet and lifestyle changes. Do you have any experience with this and care to share? Thank you
