My ex boyfriend and I are expecting in August. Him and his parents say they don't want the baby in his life. When we talked they told me I'm not old enough to make decisions without my parents (I'm 21). They said they don't think he should have to pay child support for a child he doesn't want and they think I did it on purpose because they don't believe birth control can fail. My ex was very supportive until his parents started telling him he shouldn't be involved and they have only ever met me once. I'm scared that since they're cops they'll be able to find a way to get him out of child support. Is this possible? Would it be a bad idea to contact his parents explaining things so that maybe their opinion of me will change or is that just a waste of my time?
