So my birthday is 02/29. I went to get a horizontal license today because my old one says "under 21 until 02/28/2017." Well I go through the whole process, and as I go out the door I realize I have a vertical license that still says "under 21 until 02/28/2017." I went in and asked why, so the woman who made it gets on the phone to talk to "them..." She then tells me that since the 29th hasn't passed yet, even though it doesn't come this year, the computer system won't make a horizontal license until tomorrow. She was really nice about it so I wasn't angry with her (which it wasn't her fault anyway), but I'm so annoyed! I waited 45 minutes so I could go back tomorrow... I'm glad that on my license it says the 28th so I can do everything a day early, but it's confusing for everyone involved... They need to change the system! But nobody cares about leap day babies 😪😢😝
