I appreciate that he came clean, but honesty is something that is naturally supposed to be in a relationship. You don't give a dog a treat for wagging its tail. Honesty is something that is expected. Don't forgive him right away for going behind your back and then later choosing to tell the truth on his terms. It's not right no matter how you look at it. He disrespected you and it's your choice on how you respond to that. There have been many relationships that have worked out after someone being unfaithful but you really have to make your own choice about how much you trust him, how much he respects you, and how much you respect yourself.
