FTM vs. First time doc.
My doctor decided to go home early on the day of my c-section and leave me in the hands of a young doctor. This would be his first c-section he's ever done. He took too long to get my baby out and she'd nearly died. Newborn Resuscitation = nearly $1,000 added to my bill. Next, he broke her arm while pulling her out. Broken humerus, x-rays, special care, nursery time, and visits back to the doc every few weeks = nearly $3,000 added to my bill. As a young first time mom nobody had told me to set up health insurance for my baby before she was born. Funny how that works. The doctors mess up and now as a single mother making just enough to scrape by I'm over $4,000 in debt.
