Definitely under 18 is way too early. A child raising a child can be very very difficult. Girls should enjoy their childhood and freedom while they have it. You change so much from your teens to you twenties...give yourself time to grow before you take on the responsibility of another little person.

If you're married at 20 and have a home and stable income, I think that is the best time to pursue having a child.

Ahhh... I remember the days of being 20,married and pregnant with my planned son. Then adding 2 more in 3 years. It was crazy times back then but lots of fun. Now I'm 41 and pregnant with my 4th.

I married at 18, we have our own home, he's in the army with sturdy income and I'm 37 weeks with a planned baby. I don't see how that would be too young since I do what everyone else does. Pay my bills, have a job and live my life around it (: I think if you're still in high school and trying to concieve a baby, you're too young. You have to think how much school will affect you during your pregnancy and how much the costs add up. You can't have a real job and go to school at the same time. You couldn't take proper care of the child, it would take a lot of help.

Under 18 because at that point your still a baby. I'm 19 and purposely got pregnant with my son. My bf and I have very stable jobs, our own place, and our own cars. My parents knew and supported as well as his parents wanted us to have a baby. It's all about your life though and when you feel mature enough and stable enough. I feel if you have every means to support a baby and the mentality, then go for it. But when your under 18 purposely trying for a baby when your still a child, most likely going to have to be on state aid, or relying on your parents, you shouldn't be trying for a baby. That's just my opinion though

I'm 16 , not currently trying to conceive but in October I was pregnant. Yes it was planned. Unfortunately it turned out to be a molar pregnancy.. we are both out of school,engaged, and have jobs. Oh and we've been together for 4 years.
