Am I losing my baby?

We found out I was pregnant on 1st February. My last period day was December 23 but ovulated around  14th January. On February 13th the doctor said I was 5weeks and a day. Today, March 1 I should have been 7 weeks and 2 days but the ultrasound said only 6 weeks and 4 days and they didn't find a heartbeat. To top it, I started spotting yesterday- only when I wipe though. Very mild cramps. Is this pregnancy not viable? Anyone else faced this but took it to term? My heart is sinking and my eyes wet.

UPDATE (March 2): the bleeding started later yesterday... so this is it then. Will be going to the hospital for a D&C. Thank you for all your prayers! I'm so grateful! 🙏🏼❤

UPDATE (March 2): Mother Nature loves her babies. She protected me and my unborn. I didn't need a D&C. The ultrasound showed the uterus has flushed itself. I didn't feel the prolonged severe pain that people refer to while natural abortion- just shooting pain for 10 minutes- nothing tylenol couldn't handle. I peed a few hours later with a gush of blood. They believe that was it. The best possible uterus cleansing naturally. Thank you everyone for your support. My prayers for you ladies bearing the loss. I pray it is at least not physically as painful, emotionally we just have to be strong! 🙏🏼❤
To answer my question: yes I lost this one. But my rainbow baby is just a few months away. Baby dust to all of you! 😘🙏🏼❤✨✨

Just like you, my LMP was 12/26 and I ovulated around the same week as you(my cycles vary so it's hard to tell) I tested positive on 1/30 and went to see a doctor on 2/16 thinking I was about 7w but only measured at 5w after a vaginal U/S. I had blood work done twice to check my beta hcg levels and they were consistent with a 5w pregnancy. During my two week wait to see the doctor again, I placed on progesterone tablets 3x a day. I went in yesterday for a follow up and found out that while I should have been 9w, my baby only measured at 6w and that I was most likely going to miscarry soon. Saddest news I've heard. I refused the medicine to help you miscarry and now I'm just waiting for my body to do it naturally. This is my first M/C and second pregnancy but sometimes these things happen for a reason and the next I have this opportunity, I hope my body is ready.

I'm so sorry. Keep trying girl! We lost out first via ruptured ectopic (lost the tube too) & three months later, pregnant with our rainbow. She's almost 2 & a sissy on the way in August (took 8 months for this one). Just give yourself time to grieve & get back on that horse. It helped me to keep trying. 😘💛

Good luck with your rainbow! I know it's hard to lose one, but in a way you're fortunate it was so quick and you didn't have to D&C. My miscarriage was spotting for like two weeks and eventually everything came out naturally, but the waiting and not knowing for those weeks was absolute torture. Having confirmation of the MC provided a surprising closure. We conceived our rainbow baby the first month trying (we did take two months off, to heal emotionally before "trying" again, although midwife said it was fine to try as soon as we wanted) and are now 18 weeks, looks like this ones sticking. There's always hope for the future! Best of luck to you.

I am so sorry to read this, I lost three babies last year and lost all three of them naturally, I didn't need any help from the doctors. After loosing my last baby and had some tests done the doctors sadly told me at the age of 20 that I would not be able to carry my own child. It broke my heart. 2 weeks after hearing that news, I fell pregnant and I am currently 21 weeks pregnant and carry a healthy little boy. Our bodies know what they are doing, it might not have been right for your body but I promise your time will come and you will be an excellent mum. Don't give up, keep trying and everyone on here will ALWAYS be here. My prays go to you ❤❤

Ok had this last week.. started bleeding had an emergency scan last Wednesday wasn't measuring to what I was told by midwife I go bk 2moro as they only saw sac and yolk. O heartbeat .. but I think we lost our baby on the Thursday but they wouldn't take us bk till our appointment .. it's Been one long week.. my bleeding has finally stopped 2day

We did the digital testing when we had our scan and it said 3+ so got my hopes up .. did one few days ago n came bk 2-3 so we're by holding out any hope..

When is your next appt?? They should Check again to see if they find a heartbeat. Sometimes it can't e heard specially if the tech are rushing or busy
