Cramping

I haven't had my regulare ovulation cramps the past 2-3 months. I decided to try ovulation tests thus month and today at about 11:00-11:30 I had a pretty dark line but not positive. I tested at 2 and it was lighter. I am not at work and don't have a test to test again until late tonight, but I am cramping very hard on both sides, but it switches sides on which on is strongest. Right now it's my right side. Do you think I am ovulating or what is going on. Please give me some advice.
