what does movement feel like?

I am a first-time mom and I really have no idea what the whole kicking or moving is supposed to feel like. Lately I've been feeling a little bit of like a pain for like a quick second or two Kinda on one side and then it'll stop and then It'll start again. Then  sometimes I feel it on the other side and I don't know if that's like the first kicking or not but sometimes it's very uncomfortable and I have to move positions.

It wont feel painful. It feels like little bubbles popping, or a small muscle spasm. Its so hard to explain. I didnt realize it was my baby until my anatomy scan when i saw him and felt him at the same time.

Mine was like gas bubbles, then the bigger they got it was definitely a poke here and poke and stretch there! So fun!

Started off as a 'fish flipping' sensation at about 18 weeks (sounds odd but it will make sense when you feel it). Then little taps, followed by proper kicks. When baby ran out of space the kicks were mostly replaced by stretching and rolling movements. It's quite fun to see how the movements change over time.

For me, it felt like gas in the beginning. Then when she got bigger she kicked the living daylight out of me haha

Mine was like that, then it progressed to like tapping on my stomach from the inside out, and now at 32weeks it's a dragging feeling under my skin.

Ya I mean I think I've felt the bubbly feeling too sometimes. I dunno I'm 18 almost 19 weeks so I'm thinking it'll be stronger soon.
