So I'm a FTM, and our son is 8 days old. I'm starting to get him on a bit of a schedule and I'm wondering what to do with him when he's awake and alert. He usually nurses for 30 or so mins, then is awake for 30ish (sometimes an hour), then goes down to sleep for 2hrs (or longer at night). When he's awake we will sometimes do tummy time or I will carry him around. But sometimes I want to just put him in his bassinet so I can get stuff done. Is that bad? He wiggles and makes lots of noises and I'm wondering if I should always be entertaining him when he's awake. We have him on a binky already bc he took to nursing so well and was using my boob as a pacifier all the time. What do you ladies do with your newborns?
