Where do your babies sleep?

So I have a two week old, and her, my husband and I have been sleeping in the living room because I had a c-section and the stairs were kind of painful.  Now we are moving back upstairs and he wants her in her crib, down the hall, and I want her in the room with us for the first 3 months.  So I was wondering where everyone had their little ones sleeping.

My son slept with me for the first year. New recommendations are to have the baby in your room (not necessarily in the bed) for the first year to help reduce the risk of SIDS.

Right next to me in bed!! I know its not safest but im a light sleeper so any noise or movement inwake up and check on him!!

My son would sleep in a bassinet until 3 month or so. He didnt fit in there anymore. So I got him a playpen but he doesn't really like it. He sleeps with us now but he turns against me and only cuddles me lol. He loves he's mommy.... He has a crib in his room but I won't be transitioning him until he's one.

Crib. Baby was a noisy sleepy at first so we put in his room and had monitor with us. Helped establish routine esp as baby for older and noises woke him

Baby slept with me in bed until 6 weeks.

During this hubby was off & on sleeping in our extra bedroom because she had her bad/grouchy nights and at times he didn't feel comfortable. I think its important that young they 'feel' their mothers warmth, breathing, etc ..

At 6 Weeks I started putting her in her bassinet that is in my bedroom near me and that is now where she sleeps 😊
