nanny needing advice
Hi guys so I'm at a dilemma. I've been with a new family for around 6 weeks now. The little boy is a year and a half old or 18 months. We bond together through the day. He shows me that he is attached to me by hugs, kisses, wanting me to hold him. I know he is comfortable, but in the morning when I walk through the door he screams and cries, knowing his parents are going to leave. I fear that the parents may think I am not being the way I should be. He has good morning where he is okay with them leaving but this week he has cried. We try to keep the same routine every morning to keep it consistent. His parents work a lot. They get home at 5/5:30 and he goes to bed at 6/6:30. They work on Saturday's until 4 so they really only have Sunday with him. I'm just looking for advice on how I should handle the mornings and how I can get him to the point of being okay with them leaving if I can ever get to that point. Please comment and help me! Thank you :) also I have been a nanny before for a family for 3 years their children were very social and okay with new people coming around. This little boy had the same caregiver since he was 3 months old . I know it will take time but I just need advice lol. Thank you
