what do you recommend to wear during hospital stay?

Hey ladies I been hearing about delivery and nursing gowns, I'm a FTM so I really don't know what I need to bring or wear to the hospital. Please provide some ideas. Thank you!

This is my third. I'll be bringing some sweat pants and t-shirts and my hoodie. I want to be comfy.

I bought some super cheap, oversized yoga pants that I wore and then just a nursing bra with a robe. The nurses will do a lot of poking and prodding so it's easy to have things you can take off and on quickly. I would also recommend some larger than normal sized black underwear. I absolutely hated the mesh ones they give you and felt that the ones I brought were more comfortable. And black so you don't see any staining.

I loved my front zip sports bra during my delivery. It made skin to skin contact so much more comfortable for me as I don't like hospital gowns. I labored in Walmart yoga shorts and an old Tshirt until I was at the pushing stage which is when my shorts and shirt came off. I am going to do the same this time around because it worked well for me, find something that makes you comfortable!

Most hospital really just encourage you to wear their hospital gowns for delivery and whatnot just in case any emergency happens they can open up whatever they need to they're made specifically for birth. Afterbirth I suggest some comfy clothes(easy to nurse in if you're breastfeeding) you're a tired your body hurts and all you really need to think about is that baby. I'm debating on getting adult diapers this time so I don't have to worry about getting blood on anything ( I don't know if anybody's mention this to you you bleed for like 6 weeks afterwards some less some more)

For labor, DONT buy anything expensive.. it's going to get gross, you prob won't wear it long. With my first I bought two night grounds with button down the top fronts. They were ~$10 each from Khols. Worked REALLY well. I wore one during labor (and eventually took it off) and then the other after & was really cozy for nursing. For the hospital, I recommend bringing cozy shorts & pants (I used both pending time of day). And nursing tops & bras. Just bring cozy things!!!

I wore Nothin but a silk robe and socks with the grips on the bottom... I had a c section so it was easier for me to wear that and plus the material glides over sore nipples and easy if you're going to breastfeed. Also the hidious hospital panties are super comfy!! I recommend wearing that.

I wore shorts and a tank top after I had her. I breastfed so I basically lived in a tank because it was easy access and the hot to trot mom diapers didn't feel or look very good under tighter clothing and shorts just felt nice haha

I packed 2 tank tops and 2 speghetti strap shirts easy for nursing after and I brought a tshirts to go home in, and like lounge pants soft comfortable pants! I didn't wear pants in the hospital at all just because I was always leaking I didn't want it all over my pants, I didn't get out of bed much I wanted to rest as much as I could.
