late ultrasound?

I'm 11 weeks right now and haven't had an ultrasound. My dr schedule it for 13 weeks. Is this normal?!!! Anyone else in this situation?

Mine is scheduled at 11 weeks but I've felt/still feel that frustration of wanting to at least even hear the heartbeat haha some sort of validation

I haven't even had an ultrasound yet and I'm 15weeks and 3 days. I'm going crazy waiting to my baby!

Every doctor is different. With all of my kids I had ultrasounds at the first visit. My first was 14 weeks (didn't know I was pregnant), 5 weeks and 6 days with my second ( had to have repeat ultrasound since it was to early to find heartbeat), 3rd baby my doctor wanted to wait until 13 weeks and my 4th I didn't get into the doctor until 12 weeks. I like waiting until the second trimester or close because of what happened with my second child.

My Doctor wanted one at 12 weeks and that was it! So I went to a new doctor to get her opinion and she wanted me in right away because once you get passed a certain date you can't do all the tests or somthing I'm not 100% sure but I ended up getting one at 9weeks. If you can't wait maybe ask around?
