High TSH?? Does anyone else have this?

I was just diagnosed with this today. I'm starting thyroid supplements tomorrow and rechecking my levels in 4 weeks.

I was diagnosed last April. You just take the meds as directed. Don't eat 3 hours before or 30 minutes after and don't take meds within three hours before or after. This is because it messes with the absorption rate. Depending what your TSH is in four weeks they'll adjust your dose accordingly. What I've told you is for synthroid/levothyroxine.

My TSH went up when I got pregnant. My dr adjusted my synthroid dosage a little higher and it took about a month to come down to normal. Mine was around 3.6 also. Just have your dr check your levels every 4 weeks because pregnancy can make them fluctuate!

I was was diagnosed at 8 weeks pregnant! Glad they caught it early... They Believe I had a placental abruption  at 36 weeks because of this😞 so they are testing me for everything this time around. I'm glad they caught it early for you as well. As long as you are on meds it's fine. So far so good! And I am 17 weeks now.

I was diagnosed about 3 years ago.  Still trying to get my meds right but for me the iodine supplements make all the difference. Just happy to finally be pregnant after all the ups and down with my thyroid :) did they say how high it was?  Did they test antibodies?
