never thought at 20 weeks I'd be coming home from the hospital
I always envisioned a happy exciting pregnancy, which I've had don't get me wrong. However there have been so many things out of my control it's scary.
I found out I was pregnant after my SO and I were in a terrible car accident leaving us hospitalized for a week. I left with my left arm broken in 4 places. After 2 months we discovered that one bone wasn't even attempting to grow back.
Then came the bone graft.
I went in to see my surgeon on February 17th and he scheduled my surgery for February 27th. I was in the hospital for 4 days this time. They took bone from my left femur to put into my left arm. The day I came home from the hospital was my 20 week mark with baby girl.
It's definitely been a difficult journey. I haven't yet been able to walk on my foot but it has definitely brought my SO and I closer together. Not being able to pee on your own will do that. 🙈
Pray for a speedy recovery. I'm hoping this will be the end and we can focus on our little olive from here on out💚💕
