TMI sign of labor coming soon?

I'm 36 and 1 day. My whole pregnancy I've been pretty regular constipated every now and then but today it's been I've had to poop 3 or 4 times. I just went and feel like I need to again. Plus I think I've been losing little pieces of mucus plug this week,  never with any blood just small gooey pieces of tan/clearish colored stuff. ik I've read where women have diarrhea before labor jw if this could be too?

Because of how far along you are it could be a sign of labor approaching, or it could simply be baby moving down which depending on pregnancy can either make you more constipated or actually give your bowels a little bit of freedom they've been lacking allowing you to go easier. I'm in a similar boat only I haven't noticed any of my mucus plug being lost but I'm sure it's probably already gone being this is my third kiddo I just didn't notice lol. I would recommend just keeping an eye out for any other symptoms otherwise just enjoy a little bit of the release lol.

My waters broke when I was 36 weeks and didn't have any frequent pooping beforehand. But everyone's differnt
