My daughter is 3wks old and lost her umbilical cord around day 11. It was a nice clean heal and looked great, doc even said so...now it's oozing and getting a bloody scab attached to it. I've been cleaning the scab off with swabs of witch hazel or just soapy water in the tub letting her soak it. What else should I do for her? Is this normal for this to happen to it?
