How confident are you in what the ultrasound technician tells you (if you're having a boy or a girl)?

Ultrasound tech here: trust me, we don't like telling anyone anything unless we're 100%. It's our job on the line, & our field is both demanding & extremely competitive. If I ever had doubts, I would ask for a second opinion. Great techs are never too proud to ask a fellow tech for opinions.

It really depends on the ultrasound pictures that they provide. If I can clearly see a wacker.. then yeah I'll believe them lol.. here is my son at 15 weeks.. I believed them 100%

Think it's quite obvious that I'm having a boy!! It's so easy to tell! The doctors know what they are doing x

It depends on the picture. I mean, the moment the wand touched me, both my mother and I saw it. It was so obvious he was a boy. 
I was 20weeks when I found out.

You can  usually tell by the picture ( if you get a good between the legs shot) and by the level of confidence and expertise of the technician.  My ultrasound tech has done all my ultrasounds in the last decade and was there years before I started going.. she's an expert in her field for sure and the anatomy pics I got are perfect in between the legs shot.  If the baby won't cooperate and the tech seems unsure then I'd maybe not take their gender answer 100 percent.  !

Only if the tech was super confident. And depending if baby was cooperating with us, which he was lol our tech was like yeah no mistaking that, we all had a good laugh.
