mucous plug or vaginal discharge ?

How do you ladies differentiate? I am 35 weeks almost and I have increased discharge. There is no pink tinge and it is like egg white and thick. Wondering if it is of any alarm.

Mucus plug is like a big twat booger and greenish. Discharge is white or yellow and can be watery or sticky or thicker.

Plug is chunky, not watery. I think mine had a gray tinge to it.

Discharge is normal . You'll definitely know the difference ! My mucus plug was clear stringy with blood.
