The test line has to be as dark as the control line for you to be actively ovulating. We always have a little bit of LH in our systems so it is hard to tell exactly when or how close you are to ovulation. If you are near/ in your fertile window I recommend testing once a day until the lines continue to grow darker and then twice a day near when you expect to ovulate!
