I haven't been thinking about taking out my IUD early and I'm scared that it is gonna hurt.

Generally removing an IUD doesn't hurt.
The arms fold as it slips out of the cervix.

Your GYN will know what they are doing, and if there is a problem they will know before you feel any pain.

If you do feel pain, let your GYN know straight away, as the device could be stuck or embedded, BUT, those two things are very rare!

Taking mine out hurt only because she had to look for my strings which had been pushed up. Now, the cramps after really blow balls.

Mine hurt for 2 seconds coming out but probably because my cervical opening is small

I had my doctor do it. Pulling it out by yourself could cause problems. It was uncomfortable but not painful. A friend of mine punctured her cervic trying to remove it in her own.
