False positives, do they happen??

Hey ladies! I was just curious if anyone of u have had a false positive pregnancy test result? Are they common or do they only occur once in a blue moon? Why or why not? Drop your thoughts, opinions and comments down below:)

A chemical pregnancy is when sperm meets the egg and it semi attaches to the uterus but not very secure. It will release the hcg hormone which could give you a positive pregnancy test but because the egg isn't secured it gets flushed out with your next period. Most women don't even realize they were pregnant at all. That's the way it was explained to me.

They rarely happen. False negatives are now common. I thought i had a false positive in July turns out it was a chemical pregnancy.
