Worried..Anyone went through this???

I am 6 weeks pregnant and went in today to get my blood work results. The doctor says everything is fine but I have Sickle cell trait!! I was and still am disturbed by this because I keep up with my primary check ups and was never told of this. I'm so scared even though he told me I am fine..has anyone went through this..

If your SO doesnt have the trait youre fine. My mom carries the trait. I dont but my younger sisters both carry it. The trait is safe you dont have anything to worry about unless your partner also has the trait. So i suggest your SO gets tested for it to be on the safe side

Sickle cell trait as in you carry it? I think they would have let you know if you have it...
