Iud pregnancy??

Question

I'm not worried about getting pregnant with the iud.. I check my strings and haven't had any issues.. but I heard if you did get pregnant with it it's likely you'd miscarry anyways. Has anyone gone through this? Gotten pregnant or miscarried with the iud? Just wondered.

Yes it does happen. But some are able to carry the baby with it. My son godmother cousin gotten pregnant with it and when she had the baby the baby was holding it in his hand 😂

Thanks guys.. I had just always wondered what would happen. It's nice to know that it doesn't end badly for everyone but I'm sure the odds are against it. It's just cool to learn more about your body and what ifs.

My dr said if you get pregnant with iud its usually in your tubes because theres nowhere for the baby to be in your uterus cause the iud is there so they would have to abort if you didnt miscarry anyways :/

It's more likely to be ectopic pregnancy, in the tubes, which they would have to basically force an abortion because you could lose your tube. If it does implant in the uterus normally they still have to take the iud out which can cause a miscarriage by hitting the egg when taking the iud out. I've heard of some people keeping the iud in and carrying to term not sure how that works and heard of some people having healthy pregnancies after the iud is removed.
