So both of these photos are from today. I should be about 6 weeks based off my lmp (was measuring 5w6d today). The first photo shows what she said was the the embryo at the top (HB not detected yet) and the second photo is what she said was the yolk sac (but it looks like the same thing to me?). The large black space to the left is an ovarian cyst that we are keeping a close eye on (I don't typically get cysts, so this is new to me.) I guess in just curious as to why the embryo and yolk sac appear in two different places and why they look so similar.. I'm no ultrasound tech buttttt seems strange. Also, has anyone ever had large ovarian cysts and went on to have a healthy pregnancy?
