Hair dye in 1st trimester??

Ok ladies, I need opinions! I've had this appt scheduled since before I got pregnant. I'll be 5 weeks 3 days. I get highlights, so no dye right on my head, and at a salon, so it's well vented. I've been researching and most websites say there's really no research that it's bad, but some suggest to wait until the 2nd trimester. What do you all think??

You will be fine. I'm getting married next month and I was freaking out about needing my hair done. Asked my doctor and said it was completely fine. He did suggest I go to a salon and not do it alone because the fumes from a box are a lot stronger then the hair dye that salons use!

I had highlights at 4 weeks in my first pregnancy and all throughout. My son is 9 months and as healthy as could be. When I mentioned it to my stylist she said she worked through both of her entire pregnancies.

If you really want to... Dont let the dye touch your scalp or skin. But personally i wouldn't risk it ♥ i really wanted perms but nope 😂

I think it's actually better In first trimester considering it's called "get out of jail free period" I mean woman do all types of stuff and then find out they are 3 months and their fine . I would do it but it you start feeling sick stop

I have a friend that has 5 kids and she dyed her hair through every one of them. From what I understand it's just breathing the chemical that is bad not the dye itself you should be fine if your ina pretty open vented area
